Great Lakes Council using a Yamaha UAV drone to spray Bitou Bush

Okay. Today we are using the Yamaha RMAX UAV to be treating Bitou Bush on the beach down here at Sandbar. We’re trialling this today because we’re beyond the point of using large scale helicopters to treat Bitou Bush and we’re spot spraying. We use this type of technology in areas where they’re remote, there’s large expanses of ground to be treated It reduces on-ground costs of labour It reduces the impact to the community It addresses noise abatement issues It’s just a wonderful thing to do.
